POCATELLO - High winds and flames certainly don't mix. Friday night a grease fire got out of hand and ended with an entire home going up in flames.
The fire started just after 8 p.m. at 1164 Santa Anita Avenue in Pocatello. The home owner says he was deep frying in his kitchen when it started a fire.
He says he tried to take it outside and tripped because the pan was so hot. He says that is what started his house on fire.
The whole back side of the house was in flames and there may have been a propane tank explosion as well. Pocatello firefighters are still investigating the blaze.
