Santa comes to Pinecrest Center

Holly Jolly Christmas Expo

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - It's the first of December, and that means just 25 days until Christmas and Santa is helping kick off the season at the Pinecrest Event Center.

The Pinecrest Event Center hosted their Annual Holly Jolly Christmas Expo. This year the Idaho Falls Fire Department arrived in Santa, Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman.

There was also over 100 exhibitors selling unique Christmas gifts.

Santa and his friends arrived at noon greeting many visitors at the "North Pole." Santa was sitting and taking pictures with his visitors, while Mrs. Claus and Frosty the Snowman helped decorate cookies and ornaments.

Seeing the kids light up when Santa shows up," Jay Dye, owner and manager of Pinecrest Event Center, said. "When he showed up on the firetruck today it was just way exciting for them."

You are also invited to tomorrow's expo which will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
