Misty Inglet

Misty Inglet

Misty joined our news team in January 2016. She has experience reporting, anchoring, producing and shooting sports highlights.

Misty is an Idaho girl through and through. She grew up in Preston (don't mention Napolean Dynamite to her!) and is excited to now be working in the Gem State.

After graduating from high school, she attended Utah State University where she graduated cum laude in December 2015 with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in English. She is also a graduate of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

While at Utah State, Misty was part of the Emmy-winning Aggie TV news team where she was an anchor, producer, reporter, weather forecaster, sports reporter, and technical director. While in school, she was also an intern for WTRF-7 News in Wheeling, West Virginia and loved it!  She also got to cover breaking news for each of the Salt Lake City television stations.

Misty is no stranger to pressure and a heavy workload. Throughout both her high school and college years, she held numerous school and state leadership positions. She was a college ambassador while at USU, where she did some tours and mastered the art of walking backwards without falling (not as easy as it sounds!)

Misty is an avid bowler, having won several tournaments and having represented the state of Idaho at nationals. Yes, she has bowled a perfect 300 game and yes, she is trying for another one. When Misty's not at work or at the bowling alley, you can find her reading a good book or spending time with her family, particularly her niece and nephews.

Catch Misty reporting three nights a week in Pocatello and then catch her on weekends at the anchor desk for KIDK at 5:30 and 10, as well as Fox 5 at 9.

If you have any story ideas you would like to pass along to her, or just get in touch with Misty, you can send her an email or follow her on social media.
