BANNOCK COUNTY, Idaho -- Just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, several members involved with the POW-MIA Motorcycle Awareness Rally were hurt after several motorcycles collided.Idaho State Police said it was a three-motorcycle crash near McCammon. John White, 43, from Pingree, was driving a blue Honda motorcycle north on I-15. White slowed down for traffic and was hit by another motorcycle.Then a third motorcycle attempted to avoid the crash but hit White's motorcycle. White was taken to Portneuf Medical Center by ambulance.Troopers said Bob Holden, 63, of Chubbuck, hit White. Holden was taken by Lifeflight helicopter to PMC.A third rider, Fred Castle, 65, of McCammon was treated and released at the accident. Riders who saw the accident happen said they weren't sure what was going on."When I saw them hitting the breaks, I was tapping my husband and telling him there is something going on and thank God because he hadn't even realize what was going on yet he said. We were far enough behind that we were safe but its scary, it’s really scary,” said Julia Campbell, who saw the crash.Troopers say none of the drivers were wearing helmets.
