IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -- Donated food has run out at the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership food pantry in Idaho Falls.Three weeks ago, they gave away their last food donated by the community.A dozen churches are stepping up and are hosting an interfaith food drive running until Saturday, July 31."We just have not seen an increase in the number of people that need food. It started about 18 months ago and it just hasn't slowed down. We are still seeing new people who have never asked for food before," said Sheryl Bailey, Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership.Bailey said the food drive has to tide them over until the end of October when the Boy Scouts of America’s Scouting for Food drive helps them through the holiday season.Participating congregations include: Calvary Chapel Hope Lutheran First Christian Church St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Holy Rosary Catholic Church St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Christ the King Catholic Church St. John Lutheran Church Trinity United Methodist Church First Evangelical Lutheran First Presbyterian Church The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
