MADISON COUNTY, Idaho -- Three horses in Madison County died Saturday morning in a one vehicle accident.Just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the Madison County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle accident at 4300 South and 2000 West in Archer.The car had hit four horses in the road before it veered off the roadway, and through a fence and into some trees.All three passengers were taken to the hospital for injuries.Three of the four horses died on the scene, the fourth was also receiving medical attention.Deputies have determined alcohol was involved and they are investigating if it was a factor in the crash. No names have been released.
