JEFFERSON COUNTY, Idaho -- Bonneville County Administration Sgt. Karl Casperson told Local News 8 have positively identified the body of a boater that has been missing since Wednesday.Casperson said Robert Merrill, of Victor, was guiding a Florida couple on the Snake River Wednesday went the boat capsized. The couple made it to shore, but the 49-year-old guide had not been seen since.A fisherman found the body of a male in the Snake River between 12:15 and 12:20 on Friday. It was discovered between Heise Reservoir and Twin Bridges, Casperson said.Jefferson County recovered the body and Bonneville County assisted in the identification.
