An emergency alert call was made to people living within a one-mile radius of 1140 Johnson in Idaho Falls Saturday afternoon after several men were seen driving a stolen car. One man has been arrested and another is still being pursued.

Dispatchers said reports came in Saturday afternoon of a car driving through a neighborhood with two different license plates. The emergency alert call went out to homes within a mile radius of 1140 Johnson.

Officers ran the plate numbers, and one of the plates came back to a car that had been reported stolen from Pocatello.

Police tracked the stolen vehicle and the two men inside ran. Roman Hamann was taken into custody just after 1 p.m. Saturday, when police found him hiding in a garage in the neighborhood.

Police believe the other man to be Roman's brother Theodore Hamann.
