BLACKFOOT, Idaho -- It's the week many look forward to all year long.The rides, the fair food, the animals and exhibits.It’s the Eastern Idaho State Fair in Blackfoot.The week long festivities kicked off this morning with the parade moving through town.Inside the fair grounds there are more rides than ever before and the kids just cant get enough.For some, it’s who you're with at the fair that makes it something to remember."Its just a fun bonding moment with your friends and family,” Samantha Haacke said. “You get closer and get to know each other better."What people say they look forward to the most though is the food.For the first time ever horse racing will be held Sunday.Organizers said they hope it gives more people a better chance to see the race on the weekend.
