Man Suffers Heart Attack, Dies In Lava Hot Springs

LAVA HOT SPRINGS, Idaho -- A 35-year-old man died on Monday while swimming in a pool at Lava Hot Springs.Executive Director Mark Lowe said the man and his brother-in-law were swimming toward the shallow end of the Olympic Swimming Complex when he had an apparent heart attack.People nearby started to administer CPR until an ambulance arrived about 10 minutes later. However, the man was pronounced dead in the Portneuf Medical Center Emergency Room.Lowe said there was virtually nothing anyone could do to save the man's life.
