Overnight Fire Destroys Pocatello Home

POSTED: 4:42 pm MDT September 7, 2010
An overnight fire has left one Pocatello family homeless.

The Pocatello Fire Department received a call at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a house fire on Sun Up Drive.

The Inzer family was asleep in their two-year-old home at the time, but made it out safely.

The family was transported to Portneuf Medical Center for smoke inhalation, but were back at their home that morning to see the damage.

According to the family, the fire started outside the house and made its way inside. The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire.

They said the home will have to be completely rebuilt.
