Car On Fire In Garage Leads To Home Damage
POSTED: 1:16 pm MST December 24, 2010UPDATED: 1:59 pm MST December 24, 2010REXBURG, Idaho -- A Rexburg family will be staying with other family this Christmas after an early morning Christmas Eve fire.The homeowners at 661 Dell Drive said they heard some noise in the garage and when they checked it out they found a vehicle on fire.When the Madison Fire Department arrived, it found the garage fully engulfed with flames and smoke coming from a second story windows.The fire appeared to have started in a pickup truck in the garage and spread to a second vehicle and into the second story bedroom.In all, there were three engines, a ladder truck and an ambulance on scene with a total of 19 personnel. The fire was contained to the area of the garage and bedroom above before it was put out.There were no injuries reported.
