JACKSON, Wyo. -- Jackson was a buzz Friday in preparation for the International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race.Mushers from across country and Canada gathered in Jackson to prepare for the start of the largest dog sled race in the lower 48.Mushers will race for nine days from Jackson, Wyo., to Park City, Utah.Coming from Grand Prairie, Alberta with his 16 dogs, musher Aaron Peck's said this is his favorite week of the year and his fourth time participating in the race.Peck placed third last year."It's been a steady climb each year and we are going to climb again this year,” Peck said. “I am totally confident we will be in the front of this thing."The race starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. in Jackson's town square and ends in Park City on Feb. 4.
