Water service in the city of Ashton will be disrupted Saturday.   According to city hall, the city's water system improvement project contractor will be repairing a section of water pipe that cannot be isolated.  The outage was scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15. 

While the contractor intends to work quickly, city officials say the outage could last several hours.
