Body found in Teton County investigated
Teton County authorities are investigating a human body found in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.
Undersheriff Bob Gilliam says police are treating the case as a homicide.
The body has not yet been identified.
Gilliam told the Jackson Hole News & Guide on Friday that the person appeared to have died a couple of week ago and appears to be male.
He says investigators aren't certain how the person died and are awaiting an autopsy.
The body was discovered by a man running his dog Thursday afternoon near Mosquito Creek Road, about four miles south of Wilson. Gilliam indicated the body was covered up somehow, but could not release further details.
