A former principal at an award-winning charter school in Utah is pleading guilty to felony counts of forcible sodomy.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports 66-year-old Charles Weber took a plea deal Tuesday. He is pleading guilty to two forcible sodomy charges and four other counts will be dropped.
Court documents show Weber acknowledged to FBI agents that he sexually abused "several young boys" over a 35-year period. Weber said he abused a 15-year-old student who is his relative from January through April 2012.
School board officials say Weber was fired in August for reasons unrelated to the charges after seven years as principal of Soldier Hollow Charter School in Midway.
Weber is set to be sentenced May 28. He faces 10 years to life in prison.
