A 20-year-old Idaho Falls woman was arrested Wednesday on charges of aggravated battery.
According to Idaho Falls police, Dontie Hailey Shaw became angry and attacked her 44-year-old mother with her fists and a 2" by 2" wooden pole at a residence in the 1900 block of Hoopes last Sunday.
Police said Shaw fled the residence before police arrived and they could not immediately locate her. She was booked into the Bonneville County jail on a warrant Wednesday.
