Fire burning east of I-15 near Weston exit

A fire is burning in the North Canyon area just east of I-15 near the Weston and Preston exit.

Three to four homes are being evacuated as the blaze is edging closer to them.

At this point fire crews don't know how many acres have burned or the cause of the fire.

The fire started late this afternoon and the forest service, BLM, ISP and Oneida Fire are responding.
