IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -

Taylorview Junior High School in Idaho Falls was evacuated and classes dismissed after an early morning bomb threat Tuesday.

School spokesperson Margaret Wimbourne says students were being moved to a nearby LDS church.

All students, including those who walk to school, were bused home beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Police said precautionary action was taken when at 8 a.m., school officials told police about a phone message reporting a possible bomb at the school to the school. Idaho Falls Police Department K-9s were used to sweep through the building for two hours. Classes were dismissed because of the length of time it would take to thoroughly investigate the building.

No explosive device was found.

The school at 350 Castlerock Lane was to hold classes Wednesday.
