Man killed in snowmobile crash

ISLAND PARK, Idaho -

Authorities have released the name of the victim in a deadly snowmobile accident that occurred over the weekend.

The victim was James Robert Cox, 56, of Island Park.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened on a trail near Box Canyon.

Rescuers were called to the area at around 11 p.m. Saturday, following reports of a man who had crashed his snowmobile into a tree and was unconscious.  When deputies and paramedics arrived, they pronounced Cox dead.
