POCATELLO, Idaho -

A developmentally delayed adult who had been missing since Oct. 1 has been found, Pocatello police said Sunday.

According to her legal guardian, Christina Marie Cox, 20, functions at the level of a 7-year-old child. 

Pocatello police said Cox was found in Hillsboro, Ore., after she contacted her mother and said that she was there with friends.

The Hillsboro Police Department found Cox with James Harrell, 35. Harrell was arrested on a charge of custodial interference.

Police were working to reunite Cox with her mother Sunday.
