SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -

A man who was dragged more than 300 feet on his motorcycle when it was hit by a car has survived the incident.

KSL-TV reports that authorities say the unidentified man was with a woman on the motorcycle in Murray when a car rear-ended them.

Murray Police Sgt. Kip Davies says the woman was thrown from the bike. The man stayed on the motorcycle and was dragged until he could get off.

Police say the car did not stop. They have not yet found the driver.

The man and woman were taken to a hospital with lower-body injuries that were not life threatening.
