Pickett withdraws name for city attorney job

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho -

The Bonneville County prosecutor has withdrawn his name for consideration for Idaho Falls' city attorney.

Now city leaders will have to take their pick of three final candidates.

Prosecutor Bruce Pickett said that over the weekend, he took himself out of the running after consulting with his family.

The remaining candidates are Battelle Energy Alliance Senior Legal Counsel Reed Andrus, Moscow City Attorney Randall Fife and Boyd Hawkins, the managing member of his own Utah law firm.

A final decision is expected by mid-February.
