Two people are recovering from minor injuries after the pilot of their small plane had to make a hard landing in a Madison County grain field, clipping power lines on its way down.
Madison County Sheriff Roy Klingler says that the pilot, Allan Webb, 57, of Island Park, and his only passenger, Mickel Walker, 31, of Rexburg, are both fine.
Klingler says they were flying for fun, when the single-engine Cessna lost power Friday evening.
The Federal Aviation Administration has cleared the crash site. Webb is responsible for removing the aircraft from the scene.
