Emergency crews responded to reports of a plane crash in Cassia County.

A viewer called KMVT just before 9 p.m. Monday to say a plane had crashed in the South Hills. Cassia County dispatch confirmed the report.

Family members at the site told KMVT 82-year-old Joe Tugaw of Twin Falls died in the wreck.

He was the one flying the plane.

No other information is being released at this time.
