A Pocatello man is being held in the Bannock County jail on a charge of rape.
Pocatello police said 32-year-old Aman Farah Gas allegedly attacked a 23-year-old woman in a basement apartment at 425 Hyde Ave. They said the two were acquainted.
Gas was arrested after a forensic interview and an exam was conducted with the cooperation of the victim.
