A two year old male grizzly bear was trapped and relocated Friday, September 21, into the Blackrock Creek drainage on the Bridger-Teton National Forest about 37 miles northeast of Jackson, Wyoming.

According to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department the bear had been frequenting ranch housing areas and damaging stored crops southwest of Cody. 

A second sub-adult male grizzly bear was also captured Friday for the same reason.  It was relocated to the Falls River drainage on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest about seven miles south of Yellowstone National Park.

Both release sites are located in currently occupied grizzly bear habitat.
