UFOs may have been Chinese lanterns

BLACKFOOT, Idaho -

Many of our viewers reported UFOs flying over Blackfoot last Saturday. One viewer has sent in a possible explanation.

Viewer Bryan Shigihara sent us a video of people launching Chinese lanterns at a wedding in the area. The lanterns were sent into the air in honor of the bride and groom.

We originally reported on the sightings on Monday after viewers showed us pictures of the floating lights and were looking for answers.

So which was it? Chinese lanterns or extraterrestrials?
