A Utah mother, daughter and neighborhood boy are recovering after a game of hide-and-seek turned three Rottweilers on them.
St. George Police Sgt. Sam Despain tells the Deseret News that the 11-year-old boy jumped a fence to hide in the woman's yard Monday when at least two of the adult Rottweilers charged at him.
The boy is the most seriously hurt, with bites covering his body and some on his head.
The woman, who owns the dogs, ran out to help the boy when the Rottweilers began attacking her.
Her 10-year-old daughter followed, armed with a kitchen knife. She stabbed one dog but did not kill it.
All three broke free and called 911 before going to the hospital.
City regulations allow residents two dogs maximum.
