An Australian man standing trial in Wyoming says he was justified in robbing a Jackson bank because he gave the money to the homeless.
Thirty-nine-year old Corey Donaldson is acting as his own attorney in the trial being held in Cheyenne.
He says he gave money to homeless people after taking more than $140,000 from US Bank. Donaldson was living in Sandy, Utah, before his arrest.
A federal judge has ruled that Donaldson may not argue to the jury that he was justified in robbing the bank on New Year's Eve.
