BYU-Idaho Agriculture Science Center opens to the public

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Brigham Young University-Idaho opened the gates to its renovated Agricultural Science Center at 5360 West Highway 33 to the public for an open house Thursday.
The center was formerly known as the Livestock Center.  It was acquired by the university in 1978.  It is located about 5 miles west of the BYU-Idaho campus. The renovation included reconstruction of several buildings and construction of 13 new structures between 2015 and 2017.
The new facilities include a Livestock Handling Facility, a Heifer Development Facility, and a Feed Transfer Facility.
The center sits on 140 acres containing an indoor arena and instructional classrooms. 
Elder Neil L. Andersen dedicated the center February 14, 2017.
