Police, family seek information on unsolved Idaho homicide

CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) - Police and family are still searching for answers after the people who robbed an Idaho convenience store and killed an employee have remained on the loose for nearly three years.

The Idaho Press-Tribune reported on Saturday that 25-year-old Christopher Reese was shot and killed in December 2014 when two armed suspects robbed Jacksons Food Store in Notus. The suspects who police were not able to identify took a safe and fled in Reese's vehicle.

Canyon County Sheriff Kieran Donahue says the investigation is still active, but they haven't received information pointing them to the suspects.

Reese's mother Polly Griggs says she regularly contacts the sheriff's office for updates on the case.

The convenience store is still offering a $50,000 reward for information that would lead authorities to the suspects.
