Evacuations in place in Utah fire
Firefighters have a wildfire near a Utah mountain ski resort town halfway contained, but the evacuation of 110 homes will stay in effect for several more days.
Summit County District Fire Warden Bryce Boyer said Friday at a news conference that there are still many hot spots near the homes that need to be put out.
He says the evacuation of the homes in Rockport Estates and Rockport Ranch won't be lifted until late Monday at the earliest.
Boyer says building inspectors will begin evaluating homes that suffered some fire damage to assess their safety.
Fire officials say the 3.1-square mile lightning-caused blaze has destroyed seven houses and one yurt northeast of Park City, Utah.
The evacuation of about 150 homes was lifted late Thursday night.
