Two women maneuvering for a better viewpoint at a tree lighting ceremony ended up starting a brawl.

The Associated Press reported that Philadelphia's tree lighting ceremony in Love Park started out as it does each year, with residents filing into the park and shifting through the crowds to get a good spot from which to watch the 38-foot-tall artificial tree light up.

But when a woman allegedly bumping into another woman, chaos ensued. The fight was filmed live by a local news crew and showed approximately six people throwing punches, or trying to prevent those around them from throwing punches. One man engaged in the brawl while holding his young son.

Mayor Michael Nutter and other city dignitaries were in full view of the fight.

Police say no one was hurt, but several people were taken in for questioning.
