Air quality advisory lifted for multiple southeast Idaho counties, still in effect for others

IDAHO (KIFI/KIDK) - UPDATE: 9/11/17 12:00 p.m.:

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) reports the air quality has improved and has lifted an Air Quality Advisory and Stage 1 Air Quality Forecast and Caution for  Lemhi, Custer, Clark, Fremont, Madison and Teton counties.

Due to improved air quality, burning restrictions are being lifted.

Air quality is currently in the moderate category and is forecast to vary from Good to Moderate.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) reports the air quality has improved and has lifted an Air Quality Advisory and Stage 1 Air Quality Forecast and Caution for Bonneville, Jefferson, Butte, Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, Oneida and Power counties.

Due to improved air quality, burning restrictions are being lifted.

Air quality is currently in the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" category and is forecast to vary from Good to Moderate.

As for Lemhi, Custer, Clark, Fremont, Madison, and Teton counties, DEQ has extended an Air Quality Advisory and Stage 1 Air Quality Forecast and Caution because of degraded air quality.

Burning restrictions are still in effect for these counties.

Air quality is currently in the "unhealthy for sensitive groups" category and is forecast to vary from Moderate to Unhealthy.
