Crane destroys three vehicles and two power poles, deputies looking for crane driver

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - UPDATE: Bonneville County Sheriff's Office reports they located the crane driver. According to Sgt. Bryan Lovell, the driver went back to his business and called the incident in.

Bonneville County Sheriff's deputies are looking for anyone who witnessed a crane driving down Woodruff that completely snapped a power pole in half and damaged another.

That incident totaled three vehicles and damaged the door of another.

It also left the street littered with shards of wood and a downed power line. Deputies said luckily nobody was reported to have been hurt.

The driver of the crane took-off and went home before deputies arrived around 9:00 a.m. Tuesday. If you saw the incident or know anything about it, contact the sheriff's office through dispatch at 208-529-1200.
