IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Idaho State Police reports a semi is on its side blocking traffic on 65th south near the Love's Travel Stop in Idaho Falls.
The accident happened at the corner of 65th South and 45th West.
An ISP trooper who saw it happen, heard a loud boom and saw a tire fly into the air. The trooper said the driver might have tried turning the corner too fast which caused the semi, carrying a load of heavy beams, to tip over. While it was tipping, it struck another semi truck heading east on 65th, causing visible damage to the side of the truck.
Officials report no one was hurt.
Troopers said the scene will remain active for awhile. In the meantime, traffic near that intersection is slower. ISP asks you use caution and avoid the area.
