POCATELLO, Idaho - A man was arrested in last week's robbery of the Maverik on East Alameda in Pocatello.
Police Lt. Paul Manning said Friday that Edwardo Jaramillo of Pocatello was arrested after a search warrant was issued. The other suspect is still at large. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with the hood up on his head. His face was uncovered and he was wearing a black sweatshirt over the top of the red hooded sweatshirt. He is possibly Hispanic, police said.
On July 15 around 5:15 a.m., the pair allegedly ordered the clerk to give them money. They took several cartons and packs of cigarettes, several hats off of the display hat rack, and several types of lottery tickets from the lottery dispensing box behind the counter, police said.
However, they were in too much of a hurry to take the money, officers said.
Manning said more information would be released later Friday.
