Cordona was pronounced dead at the crash. The other five were transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

A 17-year-old boy was driving the vehicle. After being treated for injuries, the boy was taken into custody on a charge of vehicular manslaughter. He was being held in the 3-B Juvenile Detention Center.

According to the sheriff's office, speed and alcohol were believed to have contributed to the crash.
