3 cited for trespassing in park

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. - Three men were cited on trespassing charges after a manhunt in Grand Teton National Park on Thursday.

National Park Service Rangers and the Teton County, Wyoming, Sheriff's Office set up containment around the Jackson Lake Lodge after security officers said three men were breaking and entering into an employee dorm room at the lodge around 9 a.m.

The three individuals fled on foot into a nearby forested area. They were located around noon and received mandatory citations to appear in federal magistrate court for trespassing.

Officials said the incident didn't pose any danger to park visitors.

Initially, a security guard reported one of the three men matched the description of Aleksandr Sagiev, a Russian man missing in the park since Sunday. It was not Sagiev, and the Park Service said the two incidents are unrelated.

The names of the three men were not released.
