IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - Four teenage boys set fire to playground equipment at an Idaho Falls park early Tuesday morning, police said.
Officers were called to Esquire Acres Park around 2 a.m. for a report of vandalism in progress. The caller observed the boys damaging sprinkler heads and pouring gasoline onto playground equipment and lighting it on fire.
Idaho Falls police said the boys, ages 14 and 15, left the park before police arrived, but were found in the area.
They were referred to juvenile court on charges of arson and misdemeanor injury to property and released to their parents.
