BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho - This year there are nearly double the number of students attending the Technical Careers High School in Bonneville School District 93.
With more students come three more programs, and a brand-new building. Wednesday evening, the high school is hosting an open house. Parents, prospective students, and the community in general is invited to drop in and see the new buildings and meet the students.
Student body president David Steele will be showing off the auto shop. He has loved cars since he was little, and says the high school is the best fit for him.
"I like how everything is applied here, in our English classes, our vocab words are applied to what we learn here, so I have auto-tech vocab words that I learn," said Steele.
If you would like to see the school for yourself, the open house is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Technical Careers High School off of Ammon Road.
