POCATELLO, Idaho - Anyone wanting to travel between Salt Lake City and Pocatello now has an additional flight option every day of the week. The Pocatello Airport now has four flights to Salt Lake and four flights back on weekdays, and three flights there and back on weekends.
The airport director said this will shorten layovers, with flights at 6:50 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m., and 6:15 p.m. Weekday arrivals are at 12 noon, 3 p.m., 6 p.m. and 10:50 p.m.
"That's a big jump for the weekends," said Airport Director David Allen. "We didn't think there was this much business travel or people trying to get back and forth on the weekends, but there is. So having those three flights on the weekends will be a definite asset."
The flights will begin June 5.
