Local Educators discuss "mission" impact on "go-on rate" for high school graduates

Local News 8's Newline program brought together Emma Atchley of the State Board of Education, Madison School District 321 Superintendent Geoff Thomas and  Idaho Education News reporter Devin Bodkin to discuss the state's goal that 60 % of high school graduates move on to college. In predominantly Mormon areas of the state,  many young men go on missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints right after graduation instead,  lowering the go-on statistics.
