FORT HALL, Idaho -

The Fort Hall Police Department said a man was stabbed to death Friday night in Fort Hall. The stabbing happened around 11:10 p.m. between Hawthorne Road and Edmo roads.

Police said they received a call from a person on Edmo Road who said they could hear a fight happening. When officers arrived at they scene they found a Native American man who had a stab wound on the upper part of his body. There were two other people on scene who were later arrested for alcohol violation.

The man was taken to Portneuf Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The case is being investigated by the Fort Hall Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
