POCATELLO, Idaho -

Pocatello police used a taser to detain a man who attempted to run from them at around 2:30 p.m. Monday.  Curtis James Wall, 22, was arrested at 800 W. Quinn.

According to police, an officer attempted to stop Wall's motorcycle for excessive speed on Poleline Road.  They said Wall attempted to elude officers by using side streets, but crashed the motorcycle and tried to flee on foot.

The officer tased Wall.  After a short struggle, Wall again ran away and was finally caught by the officer. 

Wall was charged with resisting and obstructing, driving without privileges, reckless driving, eluding an officer and two outstanding warrants.
