Missing hunter found safe in Bonneville County
A missing 74-year-old hunter has been found, Bonneville County Sheriff Paul Wilde said.
Wilde said the man's truck had problems in the Brockman-McCoy Creek area south of Idaho Falls.
The man, believed to be from near Preston, was expected home Thursday night. Authorities started to look for him around noon Friday and used a search plane.
The hunter was found around 4 p.m. and was in good shape, Wilde said.
Search and rescue crews were still busy in the area, though, as muddy roads were leading to vehicles of other hunters getting stuck.
