A video of a young man with Down syndrome being accepted to college has gone viral and is melting hearts across the country.
Rion Holcombe, 20, had applied to the ClemsonLIFE program at South Carolina's Clemson University but wasn't home when his acceptance letter came in the mail.
So his parents intercepted it, handed it to him when he came home and grabbed a camera.
The emotional video shows Rion excitedly opening the letter, scanning it and turning to his father for confirmation of the good news.
"I got accepted?" Rion asks, a huge smile spreading across his face. "They said yes?"
"They said yes!" his father replies. "What do you say?"
"Yes!" Rion exclaims. "This is crazy!"
The ClemsonLIFE program is designed for students with intellectual disabilities and accepts only 15 students each year, according to his parents.
It's meant to help young adults develop skills they can use to live independently.
