POCATELLO, Idaho -

Monday marked the start of a new semester at Idaho State University.

Thousands of new students will be attending ISU this year, and to show support you can participate in Paint the Town Orange.

This annual event encourages the community to display ISU colors in your business or home.

This is the fifth year of the Welcome Back Orange and Black event.

Locals say showing support is fun and simple.

"Our community can show support to the university by flying the colors, put a flag up, put a poster up, decorate with crate paper. whatever you can in orange and black that demonstrates your support and pride in Idaho State University," said organizer Valorie Watkins.

If you would like to participate in Paint the Town Orange, you can register for your free orange and black pack here.
