TWIN FALLS - The Bonneville baseball team was denied a state title Monday, as Bishop Kelly beat the Bees 2-1 in the 4A state championship game.

The game was played at the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls after the two teams were rained out in Boise on Saturday.

It's Bishop Kelly's third title in the last five years.

For the Bees, they have to settle for a second-place trophy, in the team's first state appearance since 2001. The Bees finish the year with an overall record of 24-6.
